My sheltie, Murphy, went through a spell when we would give him a raw hide bone he would walk around with it, as pacing. He lay for a minute and chew and and pace, bone in mouth. Eventually he seem to get over this. Thank Heaven!

First Aid Book
That first aid book sounds great. I have a Sheltie website as well and I am sure some of that info would be useful in offering advice and writing articles. Thanks for the tip. :wink2:

I am so glad :biggrin2: to hear that Bacca is better! My heart and prayers were out to youm thank God he is well. Maybe all those prayers I read about got you a small Miracle. That spider bite sounds like a good guess.

My sheltie Murphy has had similar issues, if fact he has broken open both of his elbows scratching at them. The first one was healed then he started on the second. However, I am inclined to think this is simply some allergy to something in the air, he used to have similar problems in the fall...
