I got a text message from my brother at home, "Precious pooped diarrhea everywhere......". As soon as I read it, worried, I called him.
I don't know what was wrong with her today but this morning, I woke up to the smell of diarrhea in my room. It's not the best thing to wake up to but as I cleaned it I realized it was a bit wet and bit mucusy. She seemed upset when I found it, the startled sound of my voice. But I didn't say anything much else, wondered why the change in stool and just cleaned her up, cleaned the poop and stains out of the carpet and sprayed air freshner around and continued on sleeping.
After that, when my brother texted me I was at school. I said, oh no! She had that this morning as well, I just thought it was odd but I didn't know she'd continue feeling sick. I told him where the nature's miracle spray was, in which cupboard. To pick up the big pieces, spray on area, clean up the carpet. And also to lift her tail and see if she got any on her self, with diarehha she tends to and I'd hate to have her spread the poop around if she got it on her paws or if she sat down anywhere.
Well, after leaving much detailed instructions on the phone, telling him do what you can and I'll try to be home as soon as I can. That "as soon as I can" with my last tutorial, plus bus traffic, plus walking home in the freezing cold. I got home now, 3-4 hours later.
I was PISSED. I come home, my bed room is closed. But before I go in, I see poop stains on the carpet. I'm thinking what the hell? Why didn't anyone clean it up. I open my door, and Precious is usually very excited when I get home but she just looked defeated and had her ears to her head and was sitting down on my bed, not even getting up to walk towards me. I said "hey.... Precious, you okay?" and walked up to her to pet her. I lifted her up into stand so I could see her bottom. Even without lifting her tail yet I could see poop bits stuck on her fur around her hind legs and her back paws. I lifted and could see a mess. I go back outside and look at the other parts of the carpeted rooms and notice more stains in my parents room. She diarehhad literally everywhere. But why was I angry and pissed? HOW could my brother let her sit in her own **** for the last 3-4 hours after having discovered her being sick. How could he just shut her in to my bed room, thinking she'll be okay until I got home. She's been sitting uncomfrotably with the smell of **** all around here for the past few hours.... I was beyond pissed. And to even think he didn't even try to get all the stains out in the carpet. I yelled at him and asked him what was wrong with him, you didn't do a single thing I asked you to. How could you leave things like this. He gave me a half-assed response saying "well I tried and the stains didn't come out, what do you want from me?". And I was VERY... VERY angry because he didn't even bother looking at Precious at all like I had asked.
Siblings are siblings. Family is family. But things like this make me realize very very quickly how I am very much the only real person that deeply cares about Precious. That the only reason they put up with her is because of my love for her. I was muttering under my breathe how sorry I was after I picked Precious up and cleaned her butt and legs under the shower head. You know when it's love when you can pick poop off their butt...... I didn't think it was too much to ask to clean her up.... =/ I just hope she starts feeling better.... I'm just upset she was left like that while I was in school =/
