My "Sheltie Talk" by Betty Jo McKinney was printed in 1976. It was re printed again in 1978 (I think) and in last few years very hard to get hold of... I herd it had been reprinted a couple of years ago?
Is this sesond edition that is being refered to the same book?

Sheltie Talk was my first book on the breed and even down here in Oz it is refered to as "The Sheltie Bible" A must for all sheltie enthusists. Even with its age (the 1976 edition) it is still an excellent reference book...
Another "Must have " is "The Illustrated Guide To Sheltie Grooming" by Barb Ross. Also a excellent reference book.

Sheltie Talk, just like other books get reprinted. But it is still the same edition, ie. no changes were made. This new edition apparently has many changes in it. When I was looking to buy this book and spoke to a breeder, she said for me to hold off and wait to get the new edition, and that was over 4 months ago now! and I'm still waiting. welcome to the forum and great pictures. I would like to see if I can get a hold of this book somehow as well. It seems as though it is a great resource.

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcomes! Sorry for the late reply however been very busy with life and shorts ^_^ but...I do have new pictures of Coco ^_^ from when we visited the Peacock park here in AZ she had a blast!

I also took CoCo into the vet yesterday for her second set of shots...Still cant believe she's already 10wks old :) I also got her Micro chiped and her nails trimed so she has been keeping me very busy.
