Anybody out there doing disc dog with a Sheltie?

I just had to share.

The old man still has it.
This is Miko. I kinda have to throw it directly at him though.
Sorry for the bad video. Hard to throw and watch what I'm videoing. BTW, at the end, he just lets it go.

And Koji doesn't seem to "go for it" as much as he does his toys. May have to work with him. He loves tugging it though. Glad I taught "drop it".

Oh my gosh Miko is SO cute! Love that video. Thanks for sharing.

ahahahaha, that is adorable, good going, Miko Dude!

I figured you guys would enjoy that.

I always wanted to do frisbee with Miko, but he would never run out before I threw the frisbee. He'd only run after. So needless to say, he couldn't get there fast enough, lol. But he loved it! And he's so good at catching. I used to throw his ball (plush) at him like a baseball. And my brother said he was the best soccer goalie. ;)

Hm, looks good :smile2:
I don't do disc dog with my Shelties myself, but they do a little bit with another club member - if there is work, which form it may be, they do with anyone... :rolleyes2: (poor trainer dogs...) Anyway, she often uses two or three discs to make the dogs run back faster - throwing the next, while the dog is carrying the previous to her. ...watching them is fascinating... :pop
