Do You Talk to Your Dog?

always talk to the dog first . what's the worst is when you meet someone at a dog event and then the next time you see them, you know the dog's name but not the person's name. oh well, they probably don't remember my name either............

I know everyone in my neighborhood by their dogs name.

I talk to all three of my dogs,

i even give my dogs lil pet names

Nikki-i caller nicker-doodles, nick, nick-myster, lil poopar, raga-muffin
i even made a song about her,"Nicker-doodles, makes lotsa poodles, like toaster stroodles.

Bandit- i call him Bandit man, poopar, big poopar, monster,

slate- he's still new, so we call him Slatey, or slater, or Slater tator,

Yes! I sing "Bad Boys" to my boys all the time! Sung while clapping hands. The boys go wild!

And some obscure 80's tune - "Safety Dance" whenever the boys are skipping about.

I also sing 'You're So Beautiful' to Brock, and I've started singing the 'ABC' song to Kai (my 9-week old)<grin>!

Oh how do I even start. Lexi LOVES to have conversations with me. Every night she sits at the end of my bed and just goes on and on. I think she may be trying to tell me about her day. It is absolutely hysterical. I mimic the sounds she makes (little whines, groans, and "ruffs") and when I stop she picks up. My sister timed us one time and Lexi "talked" to me for ten minutes. She is such a NUT!

Yes I spoil little Luke with toys and talk to him and sing to him an Irish Lullaby every night
But I sing to him during the day too.im a vocalist lol

I work at home, alone. Hubby goes to work early and it's just me and Oberon an the cat -- so yes, i talk to Oberon all day
