Thanks for the information about tripe, SheltieChe and Sumac3890, but Edan has never had tripe before and, given his history of sensitive stomach issues, I would rather not introduce something he's never had into the equation. Its bad enough I'm jumping through different things he use to eat with ease trying to get something of food into him.
He's still not eating - picking at things like dried apples, cheese, and graham crackers but not really eating anything. It's been over 24 hours since he ate the ground beef and rice.
I'm an emotional wreck watching my dog starve himself and not being able to do anything correct the issue. I broke down into hysterical tears a few times yesterday and seem to be living on borderline tears ever time I even think about this. I know people keep saying dogs won't allow themselves to starve but this is getting incredibly serious. It's been a week since this started and there is still no end in sight.
