Ember takes everything personally.So nothing new here. Not sure what the cause might be. Maybe Birch hid some of his rotten dead squirrel out by the tree.

I have no idea who or what killed the squirrel. Birch was standing at the back door one morning with half a dead squirrel dangling from his mouth. Obviously not a fresh kill.
