Oh, yes. it is what it is made for. I've just never attached the leg hanger thingies. I just think it might be easier for him to use that way. don't know if he would go for it, though. something to try this week sometime
he's fine around the house, so we wouldn't have the chair on him then. its too big anyway, hard to manuever around corners and such. I mean for his weekly walks.
So thanks to google, I learned that tripods need strong core muscles to help their balance. Since Gavin has had balance issues since he was sick over Christmas, I need to work on core exercises with him. So the balance cushions and such get to come out again. I am hopeful this will help, cause Gavin's moods have been decent to good lately and I want to keep it that way.
I also reconfigured his food bowl so he could lean against the wall while eating (he moves a lot while eating) and that helped. He doesn't need to lean while drinking as he is much less active for that.
So Gavin was a bouncy boy this morning what that means is he follows me around for his food, follows me to the shower, gets in the recycling, etc. We did a few minutes of core exercises (nothing big, just building up slowly). funny thing is, my christmas present this year was a core balance board for me! Sadly, Gavin can't use it as it is too unstable for him (I tried for giggles.....) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083M7KFRM/ref=twister_B083M7CFJQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Gavin had a good morning today. had his little walk by the lagoon courtesy of the stroller. I will try and be careful about NOT carrying him, so as to make him walk/stang/get up and use his core more. But he DOES ask to get put up on my bed while I am getting ready in the morning. Guess he likes the view!
