Harley Sipes 2004-2010

I'm so sorry for your loss, cweezy. Remember the stories that you want to share about Harley. They'll make you laugh and smile down the road. A hug to you.

Thanks, I remember tons of stories, it sucks that i dont really have any pictures of him, my only pictures of him were from my old phone that my mom uses idk if she has them anymore but i will find out this weekend and post them if do find them, oh and the name is Carter, cweezy was a nick name from a church i used to go to and it kinda just stuck for my emails and user names and gamertags.

I am so sorry to hear of your terrible loss of Harley. What an awful shock it must have been to hear the news. We who have lost a sheltie at a young age know how you must feel.

Carter, I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Harley. I lost my 12 year old cat last summer and the first week was horrible, but it does get easier. Then you think of all the funny things they did, or the great way they showed they loved you and you smile. I hope your memories of Harley can bring you some joy at this difficult time.

Carter, this sucks. It's okay for a little while to admit it, especially here. We know it won't be all sunshine and lollipops as fast as some other rl friends may want you to get over it... Some people just never had such a great bond as you and Harley had, and they just have to be pitied ... :wink2:

I am sure your parents will feel dreadful and a good cry is to be expected when you guys meet up, it may be a good thing to be able to let it out with people you trust! It was an accident, but that doesn't minimize the loss.

Whether you see it right now or not, but it WILL get better. Think to yourself of what good thing happened or what good things you will do... or try to remember a great thing Harley taught you, or vice versa. It will get less painful, but never forgotten.

He sounded like a wicked dog, I thin I would like his attitude ;)

hey guys. Im ip in bloominvton now. i was able to get 2 pictures off my phone. im not sure what the qaulity will be like when i put them on here when i get back home to kansas because when i blue toothed them to my phone from hers they ended up being small. right now i feel less sad and more angry towards who hit him because knowing being where it happened i think how much of a bad person do you have to be to not even stop after you hit a dog. how wreckless do you have to be to have even hit him from the part of the road it happened on? it really is a hill about 200 yards from the intersection and the rest is flat and no high grass. a blind man could have seen him coming and slowed down.... it really would not have been a good day of i had been there. the anger im feeling now probably wouldnt even compare.

There could be many reasons.. and you have a right to be angry. Try not to hold on to that for too long, though...

Thing is that it is out of your control, which is the biggest part of the frustration... Nothing you can do about what a Idiot the driver may have been, or what could have gone on in their head, maybe they had a reason why they couldn't/wouldn't stop... The only control you have now is how you let this affect you and how you will be dealing with the loss of awesome Harley.

Can't wait to see the pics, and glad you're having a good visit

im not sure if this will work it could be just a fail like my last try

.EDIT. IT WORKED HAHA. but this is Harley, they both were right before his bath when we got home from Turkey Run,
