I could never be a breeder, I'd have to keep all the puppies. You aren't kidding Shelties are like potato chips. I'd have 10 if I could.
What a dreamer huh ! But I think like people no animal should be without a home either.
I've owned Three Shelties all from Breeders the First Bonnie now at Rainbow Bridge was born in Shetland. It's coming up for two years since Bonnie passed I still miss her each & every day in life.
The second Jura was born in Eastern Scotland, I named her after the beautiful Island of Jura.
Tara is the most recent she was born in Scotland's west coast a town near Ayr.
I'd dearly love to adopt some Shelties but not many are available for adoption here in Scotland...which I suppose is much better than being thrown onto the street to fend for themselves.

. Ailsa my bridge baby came from a breeder in Fife when she died I was never going to have another dog, my family went behind my back and got me Arran from the same breeder, they were both named after Islands. Abby is a rescue but she came from Wales and I had to horror of horrors travel to England to get her
, I got her from two rescue forums that I'm a member of, there was actually another one on one of them last week but he has just been rehomed.
