I am not sure what could be up with Maia. She is vomitting yellow mucus, as she has not been fed since yesterday. Yesterday, I noticed that her stool was soft and covered with yellow mucus as well. She still has her appetite, but I have not given her anything today. She is still wanting to play, but I have not done too much of that either. Yesterday, when I went to pick her up, she yelped. When I palpated her side and legs, she did not seem in pain at all. She has done this one other time, about 2 weeks ago (the yelping when picked up that is). I am very worried. She has been farting, and they smell horrible! We were at the park on Sunday, and she did get into some left over chicken that someone left on the ground, and I could not get out of her mouth fast enough. Do you think it could be an obstruction of somekind? Would it take this long to see symptoms? I am really worried. I think I will take her to the vet tomorrow for x-rays, or do you think I should take her in to emergency tonight??

Belle acted like that when she had colitis. When the vet x-rayed her, her intestines and colen were inflamed and she had horrible gas 
He give her some meds and she was feeling better within a couple of days. During that time I fed her boiled rice and chicken and some pumpkin.

During that time I fed her boiled rice and chicken and some pumpkin.I spoke to a homeopath, and she gave me something for the vomitting, and told me to give her some organic chicken broth this eve and see how she does with it. She is still playfull, infact , right now she is ontop of Chinook wrestling with him, jumping all over him. So she does not seem to be in any pain, and I guess that is a good sign. We'll see what tonight brings.

I'm sorry to hear about Maia and I know how worried you are. Buggs has started vomiting while we ride. If nothing happens real soon with Bugsy, I'll have get him to the doctor. Now, I can say that sometimes pancreatitis can cause an overly produced stomach acids and bile. When the pup throws up the contents will be yellow bile. Too much grease or oils can cause the tender insides to up chuck.

The yellow bile can be a sign of inflammation, although I've also been told it happens when the pup has an empty stomach. But with the other symptoms you've described, it does sound as if Maia got into something. The chicken and broth are definitely a good stopgap, and I'd also add some canned pumpkin too. Probably a good bet though to take her to the vet tomorrow just for a check. She may need a little stronger med or an antibiotic to be safe.

From what you describe sounds like she has just picked up a bug or eaten something she shouldn't.
Ann is right, some dogs (and that includes mine) will vomit up frothy yellow bile when they are empty. I was told it is called the 'hungry sicks' and quite a few dogs suffer from it. Cadbury doesn't need to be ill to get it, just empty.
When he had a recent stomach upset I did not dare leave him more than 24 hours before feeding him (so from 5pm the previous night, to 5pm the day he was ill) as I knew he would end up being sick because he was empty. I waited until it had been about 3 or 4 hours after he had last had to go to the toilet and then made him some scrambled egg and rice. Egg is supposed to bind them up.
I did find though that for a week afterwards his poo was very soft and sloppy even though he was no longer ill, so be aware it can take that long for their tummies to settle again.

I agree with Ann, Vet visit for assurance.
Just to be on the safe side . More than likely that chicken Maia ate at the park was the culprit. But may need an antibiotic . The rice and pumpkin will help the symptoms but not any underlying cause, if any. Please keep us posted.

Clancy used to get the yellow bile throw up..it was the empty tummy and we found out his kibble had corn..a switch of food and giving him a bed time snacky took care of it!
I agree..have a vet check to rule out out any nasty bug or obstruction!!
