Good news, Ania...so glad to hear she is doing better!!! I know it's a huge relief. Hope she continues to do well.
 
She is back to normal, thank goodness. Her poop is back to normal too. I am still going to keep my eye on her. I wonder what it was? Must have been some bug or something. Thank you everyone! You guys are the best.

That's what we're here for! I too, have experienced the caring and support from this forum when Bacca got sick. It sure helps to be able to talk about it, because many of my family and friends just don't get it! And of course, the expert advice....:smile2:
 
Whew! Glad to hear she's back to normal.

I suspect this sort of flare up happens to everyone's dog once in a while. I gleaned some good information from this thread should I ever experience similar problems with Ariel.

Sorry I missed this but glad to hear your baby is doing better. Could have been the chicken or a bug. I wish our kids could talk so we would have a better idea of what is happening with them.
 
Anything further? Was just thinking about you and wondering if things were still ok. These things can come and go if its chronic. But if it seems not to be re-occuring, then I'm betting it was the chicken.

My forever pup got into leftover Turkey dinner once and was sick for days. He was just not used to rich food (never fed table scraps) and he reacted violently!
 
She was doing better and then yesterday, she threw up again at my sister's house. This morning she ate, and kept it down, but did not seem herself (could have been that Chinook was not here, as he stayed another night at my sister's with my niece and nephew who wanted to have a 'sleepover' with him) I am thinking that it might be a wheat intolerance. I am going to try my theory out. I think, that she gets sick and has mucus in her stool, after she gets too many home-made dog treats, that all have gluten in them. So, when I know that she is OK, I will feed her some and observe to see if that is the problem.

Can anyone tell me, that has or had a sheltie with a gluten intolerance what the symptoms were?
