My Sweetie

Cute "Bunny" Gran-Doggers pPcture

Corinna, I was glad to see your post that my easter bunny grand-doggers made you smile!!! You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am glad that cute picture made you smile, as well. That picture made my day, too cute.

Thank You Corinna for keeping in touch!

Wanted to check in with all my friends. Im at work sneeking a peek on whats going on. I got a laugh at some of the easter pics. Im glad to hear that Bailey was ok after her meat in the yard incident. Rico is doing well and I am much better today. Buddy got a bath last night and a nail trim so he is his handsome self. The 2 Chihuahuas avoided the bath but after the capture and release nail trim of their talons...lol...are doing well. Today Buddy and I went for yet another walk....He is not going to give up looking for his friend!
Little does he know she is walking with us.
Have a nice night and Ill see you in the afternoon!
Hugs to you and your furkids!
Good night

Glad to hear you have been getting through the tough days and getting a few chuckles here and there. Glad you were able to put up Sweeties picture. It will get easier with time. Know that Our Prayers remain with you and your family. May God Bless and console you and your Daily !

Hello everyone! Today I went to our Tractor Suppy store and they are having a contest for the cutest dog pic so I went through my pics and found some. I had to do some crying but was able to even take a pic of my Sweetie and enter it! I didnt feel right not including her. Wouldnt it be something if she wins!
CChris, I think your idea about a memorial garden is wonderful. Sweetie always loved to go and dig in my flowers then lay in the dirt and watch me tend them. So I think Ill do a special one for her and I also have my father's ashes in a granite urn I can put with Sweetie. I also found a garden stone for a Sheltie.
I am really looking foward to the weekend. I need some rest!
Good night friends! Sheltie hugs and Sheltie kisses to you!
Corinna

A memorial garden sounds beautiful. That would be a nice tribute to Sweetie.
I hope you have a pleasant weekend and get some much needed rest.

Corinna, I joined the forum this week and only got to read your story for the first time today. I am so glad there are some positive, immediate steps you can take to honor Sweetie. The grief is real enough when our furkids die of natural causes, but this . . . I couldn't imagine it.

Thumbs up to Chris for suggesting a memorial garden, and to everyone else for being such a support for Corinna and her family.

I think you are a marvoulous Person! The Memorial Garden suggested by Chris is such a great way to always remember Sweetie! Did she have any particular flowers she enjoyed laying near? She more than likely just enjoyed laying in the cool dirt watching over you. I think It was fantastic that you entered Sweetie as well as Buddy in the contest at the Tractor store!! I hope she wins or is tied for first place with Buddy !! That would be the best !

I am so sorry to read about Sweetie. The threads in this section are always so sad, yours is sad and a horror story. I was thinking about my vet when I read this story. They would have filed papers and had this incident investigated, if it were one of mine. The kid would have been picked up ASAP and questioned. Hopefully your vet documented and gave you a copy of his findings.

My heart goes out to you and hopefully everything remains calm, and you will recover along with your and Buddy.

Stay safe!
