Poor babies -- at emergency vet

Outstanding news!!!
You must be over the moon having them back home!

Extra hugs, pats, and kisses all around!!

Oh, Ashley, I just saw this -- been at Nationals. I am so very sorry to hear of this near miss. Please don't beat yourself up -- these little stinkers can move like lightning to get a "snack." I'll keep your babies in my prayers as they recover. :hugs

Just catching up and read this, so glad everything is OK now. It doesn't matter how careful you are, sometimes these things just happen. I think we can all relate to those moments and certainly are sharing in your relief.:smile2:

I am so far behind, catching up too. Glad to hear the puppers have returned
home, and they are doing well. Scary!

Very happy to hear that the kids are home and happy. Stuff happens - all we can control is how we handle it. And you handled this perfectly.

Give those naughty pups a pat from me.

Just getting back on the computer after an insanely busy weekend. I'm so glad Lexi and Enzo are home and doing well.

Not surprised Lexi is a bit more cuddly than normal. She just needs some reassurance that everything is going to be OK. Enzo, he's a trooper. :)

Update

Lexi and Enzo went in today for their final kidney panel. Lexi's was clear, but Enzo's showed slightly elevated levels. The vet didn't seem very concerned, but did recommend that he stay overnight tonight for more IV fluids to continue to flush everything out.

I'm not really sure the purpose/how it will work, but that was his recommendation. My husband is going to get more details this evening when he goes to pick up Lexi.

Thanks for the continued support!
