A gentle,loving Sheltie boy
Arrived at the Bridge today.
Sweet Trevor walked life's final mile,
St. Francis met him with a smile,
And bid him wait just a little while
'Til Kelly comes his way.
For Shelties waiting at the Bridge
Time passes swift and true.
In just the twinkling of an eye
They gaze 'cross pastures green and spy
The sunshine of their Sheltie sky
Come laughing into view.
St. Francis, someone needs you now
To help her through the tears
And loneliness that come with grief,
A soulmate gone with scant relief.
Comfort her with this belief:
The future holds no fears.
For love between two kindred souls
Is a light that will never dim.
The pain will fade, and mem'ries fair
Bring richness to each passing year,
'Til two who hold each other dear
Step 'cross the Bridge to Him.
Chris that is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!! It made me cry thinking about my Tyler waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. Such a beautiful, sweet poem, thank you for sharing..
