A shared grief -
Dear Kelly: We are so sorry for your loss. Because we have been where you are today, we know something of how you feel and we share your grief. All of what you have said about your beloved boy are things which we have said and thought about our beloved Jake, and later about our Lacey Blue. We know this probably won't help much now, but please know that you are not alone. A wise "Sheltie person" we know told us that our dogs that have passed on send us the ones that we need. That certainly has been true for us, as our Rob helps us every day to remember and grieve in a healthy way for those Shelties that are no longer with us. Let your other Shelties console you right now - that is the best grief therapy you could ever have.

You couldn't have paid a better tribute to Trevor than this site. Without this site, my Abbie wouldn't have found a home with me because I would have let the "fenced yards only" notice on our local shelter's website deter me instead of meeting Judy, who fosters for them. This connection made it possible for us to find the perfect match for us.
In your darkest moments, please remember the good that has come from your doing, how loved you were, and how loved your Trevor still is.

Im so sorry to hear of Trevor! He is in good hands and I know my Sweetie was there to meet him at the bridge! I feel your pain all to well. I miss my little angel . Please take my hugs and let them heal your heart!
