Watson's Ordeal

Well, it took just over 2 weeks, but Watson's attacker got another dog today. Report is it was loose with it's partner and they took another dog unaware from behind. One was restrained the other took off and ran through a park where county little league all stars were playing and tried to break into another house to go after another dog. The other dog, another pit bull couldn't even fight back being tag teamed.

How many more times does this need to happen before the owner is charged??? :no::mad::( such a horrible mix of emotions because I've been waiting for this call.
 
That's such a shame. Until she really gets hit in the pocketbook, is shamed enough through media, etc, she will not change. Jail time may be what is needed. Unless it is a politician's family that is affected - things will happen mighty quickly then.
 
I would call your area newspapers and see if anyone will run a story on what is happening and the lack of support from law enforcement. Maybe this has to go public before appropriate action will be taken.

I feel so sorry for the dogs that are getting attacked and their people...this just isn't right...and is really scary for anyone living in that area.

Give Watson a pet from us and Sca says food also.

Yes, do this. Call the papers. We had a couple of dogs in our town who attacked, and owners name, the fines, and all sorts of information was in the local paper. I'd consider the civil suit mentioned upthread, too.

You can see the owner of the gallery through the window laughing at the debacle that is your dog. As you leave, he comes out to let you know that it was "the funniest thing he has ever seen through that window." *sighs* this is my not so brilliant sheltie.:o

Ok, my sheltie has run into glass doors... twice. And that sounds like something mine would do. She got concerned about a Great Dane on the tv when I was watching the dog show. She doesn't like Great Danes. Obviously one was in her living room. But other than that, she's a very intelligent dog. She just has her moments...
