Okay - Let's see how many interesting, disgusting, and downright scary things you have caught your precious Sheltie "red-pawed" with?

Gee...I hope this doesn't offend anybody..

3) MacBook Pro power cord (buhbye power cord).
2) A disposable razor (no harm done thank god - got a lidded bathroom trashcan after that one).
1) My roommate's used condom (gross, I know).

That's an easy one....

1) Scariest thing was watching a sewing needle disappear into Indy's mouth before I could fish it out.

Yes, emergency trip to the vet....xray to confirm it was there (yep it was nicely settled in his stomach), and full stomach surgery to remove it.

2) Silliest thing....Coming home from work and finding Bacca in the backyward, flat out, staring at the sky. I call to get him inside and he's weaving and wobbling all over. I think poison! Rush him to emergency. Stomach is pumped. Turns out my Bacca has a thing for marijuana and got into my son's stash. It turns out Bacca could be a drug dog sniffer, because he smell it anywhere! Only problem, is that he keeps "eating the evidence"! :rolleyes2:

3) And yes, the underwear. The boys seem to think this is the best "chew" toy ever!

Yucky! Not surprising though. Faolan likes underwear and Conan likes socks!

We got a new bathroom trash can with a tight lid so we've had no further incidents lately. That is, until they learn how to step on the foot thing to flip the lid open :biggrin2:

Oh my gosh! And did your son live after that?

Lets see:

Diva- the ever popular underwear, toliet paper(once she pooped white all day), she shredded a hamper full of clothes(3 jeans, several T-shirts and underwear), a sharpie marker(fun), bathroom trash, kleenex and kitty crunchies:dead:

Ember-2 phone chargers, shoes laces several times, about 5 leather leashes including Justice's red, white and blue kangroo show lead:mad: and socks

Justice- one and only thing he every chewed on was his rolled leather collar. He is too good of a boy to do something like that twice.

#2 is hilarious! Read that one to the boyfriend - We both had a good laugh!

But #1 reminded me of when I came home and found a box of thumbtacks all over the floor. A trip to the emergency vet and $300 dollars later, I found out neither of the boys had ingested any. Thank god! I can't imagine how much stomach surgery must cost. Of course the price is insignificant when it comes to our pup's health!

Kitty crunchies? Is that kitty litter? Haha!

Faolan also chewed my prescription glasses up once. I had to go around with them duct taped in the middle and missing an arm for 2 weeks until my new ones came in. After that, I NEVER left them on the coffee table again (or anywhere else the boys could reach them). I hang them from my window blinds at night before I go to bed! and just in case, I have an extra pair now :)

Hmmm...

My first sheltie ate rat poison. After an expensive trip to the vet, she was fine. That had to be the scariest one for me.

Surprisingly, Bailey has been pretty good with chewing things. The only thing she chewed was a buckle on my rain boots. She did eat random meat on a neighbor's lawn once. I definitely got my first gray hair worrying about that. Thankfully, she was fine.

Just this weekend, I found my chihuahua chewing on an opened safety pin. I have no idea how she got it. I checked her mouth and she was fine. And to think she is 6 years old. They just never stop.
