Worst thing you ever caught in your Sheltie's mouth?

Cleveland ate one of Ron's hearing aids years ago. Now here is the question on that one, don't you think ear wax would be disgusting tasting?

That was an expensive vet bill ($150) AND a trip to the Hearing Specialist ($4000).

McKinley is just gross about eating frogs in CT, and now these horseshoe crabs on the Bay............seafood breath.........and yes I do try and stop him from getting them. :rolleyes2:

Nothing really scary, just sheltie artwork with the toilet paper, must be a sheltie thing. Lady liked to see how far she could run with it from the master bath down the stairs before it would break. Lucky would shred it into some kind of creative thing.

The hub's undies, socks, bedding all nibble holes. LUCKY!

Lady likes to throw bones, and toys down the stairs to hear the thump thump.

Lady did like to get in a drawer if it was just a wee bit open, drag something out.

Thank goodness they are now grown up!

Let's see:

With Noah, it was a sewing needle too - I got it before it went too far.

With Emma, - the bathroom garbage, the dirty laundry, shoe insoles (one went right through),

With Liam - the bathroom garbage, kids toys, books, the clip from a tensor bandage, a pen, and the worse was last night. He found a lighter Dad dropped in the yard, and was running around with it.

Last night, Emma kept trying to lick Liam's tongue - don't know what she thought she was proving.

Well, I've caught Boo with a toad in his mouth, a snake about 8 inches long, of course I have little mouse holes in almost all my socks, he chews on the cats toys that have catnip in them...and before Tucker passed away, I caught him running around the backyard with a birds nest in his mouth....and so goes the sheltie world :smile2:

A bird's nest?! I love it!

Well Fergus ate "something" once. I have no idea what it was. He was vomiting so a trip to the vet and x-rays showed something in there. My vet decided to wait 24 hrs and take more x-rays to see if it was moving through. Luckily it was so no surgery was required. I searched poo for days to see if I could find "it" when he passed "it" but no luck so I still don't know what "it" was.

The worst thing Baxter has eaten was the elastic bandage that was on his foot after surgery. It turned up missing and being the chow hound he is I was pretty sure he ate it. Yep! He threw it up 10 days later. I could not believe it stayed in there so long. He ate and drank the whole while like nothing was going on. Unbelievable!

I forgot about all the expensive heels Faolan tore up! I had to rebuy my entire shoe collection..
