Mindy is small and people always ask me if she’s a mini, but she’s not that small! Mindy weighs in around 14-15 pounds and is just about 14 inches.

Ugh, pottying in terrible weather is such a challenge. Hope everyone stays safe.

We feel so lucky. Both dogs are wonderful and getting along great. Few challenges. The biggest one is getting Kayleigh housetrained, but she’s getting there.

I hope you’ll forgive us for not bringing home a sheltie sister for Mindy but instead we brought home six year old puppymill survivor cavalier kc spaniel, Kayleigh. So good for both dogs!!

Mindy is still figuring out the layout. It’s amusing to watch her. Two ways to get from the livingroom to the main bedroom, bathroom and laundry. She goes around one way. Then stops, looks around and goes the other way.

We recently moved to a duplex from a condo in a three story building. Mindy is so much happier because it’s so much quieter here! Today we got a new living room rug. She’s trying it out and gives it her approval.

Thanks, everyone! Thankfully, they do think they got all my husband’s cancer. Time will tell. Mindy was a huge part of my recovery from surgery. Once she was back home, I had no choice but to walk her! Glad to see you’re all still here and the shelties are all having fun!

Her prednisone is down to 1.5 mgs daily from 7 mg so I’m really hoping it’s not that! We can’t go any lower without becoming symptomatic.

Mindy’s got her issues, but being brushed isn’t one of them! I stretch my legs out across to the coffee table and she will stretch out on her back, on top of my legs while I brush her chest and belly!:):):)
