Mitt Romney and his dog abuse

I guess I would want to know just how true the story is. Has it been blown out of proportion and exploited by the media as "good press".

I'm not up on my American politics but I find it hard to believe that an intelligent man, presumably with an intelligent wife could possibly do this? The Snope site seemed to confirm some truth to the story, but I wouldn't be too quick to accept this as gospel without further evidence.

The media, unfortunately, has been known to play up these kinds of stories because they make great headlines. And great hype, if even a portion of the story is true.

Don't get me wrong....I'm not saying that its not true, but I AM saying that be sure before you judge. Too many "truths" out there.

Sadly Barb it is true. They have him on video talking about .Personally, I don't care to keep hearing the media talk about it over and over.It is like a broken record.Like everybody in office is all pure and lily white.I don't like what he did but it happened along time ago.:(

So, Saturday Night Live MIGHT do a skit on this and most likely the setter is going to be our Sassy :-) Keep you posted :biggrin2:

I hope they DO it, and I am excited that Sassy may be the one to do it! YAY!:biggrin2:

It would be nice. Although a few weeks ago they flimed her on a Friday to do an SNL stint and she kit the cutting room floor  So, even if they film tomorrow, it doesn't mean that it will make it in the skit. But, let's cross our fingers!

I hope this is her big break! Not to mention it's a cause I can get behind! :biggrin2:

It would be fun :biggrin2:

She did make a skit a few years ago on SNL back when Lance Armstrong and Sheryl Crow were still together. It was an episode with the two of them in it.

That is so cool! I hope they do it and that she gets the job. What a great cause for your dog to star in! Do keep us posted so we can all set our DVRs!

Oh well.....they went with a Golden Retriever instead to play the part of the Irish Setter. What's up with that

Apparently they needed the dog to bark on command, and our Irish do not do that. If only they learned from our Sheltie girls
