Monty is coughing/choking almost none stop

My heart is just breaking for you... so sad. :(
Glad he is sleeping now...
Prayers that you can get him in first thing in the morning and he will get the help he needs.
Virtual hugs :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs
Please make sure you take additional videos of his episodes. It really helps as sometimes they will not present the same symptoms at the vet as they are stressed.
Also, so the doctors can see how serious it really is.

I couldn't agree more about the video's Gloria, I do this when I have car problems and they always ask 'what kind of noise is it making?'.
My heart is breaking too! I'm so glad that he's finally able to sleep though...perhaps the combination of lemon honey and steam has helped. If he's congested he may have a chest infection and be in need of antibiotics. Call them first thing in the morning Darren and tell they your bringing him in ASAP! You may need to do the shower again to help loosen it up, and the lemon and honey. Don't take no for an answer!
Sending more prayers for sweet Monty that he feels better quick!

The fact that he is still having strained breathing after antihistamine and the other remedies does have me worried. I really pray he is better in the morning and gets seen right away by the vet. Breathing issues are definitely an urgent matter!

Little Monty is finally at the vets and so far he has fluid on his lungs. He has been kept in as they need to do blood tests and check his heart. I had to take Broccoli off him as it's not allowed with him due to the virus, Monty was more conerned about me taking that from him than leaving me lol.
Oh well I just have to wait, I did get to shout at the vet which made me feel a little better.

At least he is where he can get the care he needs. Are they giving him oxygen? I would think he would be in an oxygen chamber to help his breathing as I know a dog would never tolerate a mask. I hope the identify the type of infection quickly and support him in every way possible! Prayers flooding in from across the pond! Virtual hugs to you! Blessings and keep us posted!
Thanks for your post as all of us are holding our collective breath over here!

I'm relieved he's at the vet's but won't stop worrying until he's back home with you and Mr. B. The poor little guy, what an ordeal. I hope they can diagnose the problem and resolve it quickly, and I'm VERY glad you yelled at the vet! That is just irresponsible that they let him go that long. Sending prayers and all good thoughts, Darren.
