My Sweetie

This is beyond awful. Some people really don't have an ounce of a soul in them. I am incredibly saddened to hear that Sweetie and you have to go through this. My thoughts and prayers are with you . Rest assured my beloved Lucky is showing Sweetie around at Rainbow Bridge .

I am thinking of you this morning, loving you and saying a prayer for your safety. Please know that you are in my thoughts throughout the day, and all of Sheltie Nation stands beside you in spirit, Be strong.

Corinna

Thanks for keeping us on course with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless and protect your True Family .

Corinna.. I am so sorry for your lost! I can not even imagine what you had to go thru with all of this. Even before Sweetie's death, your life with this step-son in your house must have been more than you could handle. Please know, that all of us are here for you to cry on if need be. *big hugs from all of us*

One thought I had about Buddy growling at your husband may be that he is smelling the step-son on him. Plus additional thought is that Buddy know/smell that they are related.

I'm re-reading all these posts and realizing that none of us really know enough about the details between the relationship between your husband, son, stepson, yet we are all throwing around advice like we are intimately involved and know all the history.

Please know that we are doing it because we want to give you love and support as you sort your way through this horrible experience. And of course, we are angry that a living being lost his life and worried about more trauma to you and yours.

That being said, I strongly advise you to seek professional legal, police/security and possible emotional support during this time of immense turmoil. This is not the time to be making decisions without proper counsel close to you and your situation.

Hugs to you, and know that the forum is here whenever you need to let loose.

I have been off the Forums for a while and I have just found out about your tragic, senseless loss.

Words can not express the pain and heartache I feel for you, on so many, many levels. And words can't, and wont, make this better for you. Sweetie is at the Bridge and in that many you find confort.

Thinking of you all.

If am just getting back to this post and yes this kid belongs behind bars--why in the world is he even out. Grrr this upsets me to no end. I am so very sorry and God bless Sweetie for her birthday may she rest in peace till you meet again. Bless Buddy for missing his Sweetie> How wonderful of you to pay the fee's for the sheltie at the shelter.
Please know you are in my prayers.

I would like to tell you the 5 years of hell I have indured by my husband and his family ending with the loss of my Sweetie my baby girl but it is way off course for what this thread is for. I thought I had lost everything when I sold my camaro I loved so much because my husband is a workless wonder. I was so broke I didnt know what to do and was given the mobile home Im in for free. I knew I would never have to give up my furkids cause id go hungry before they would. Boy was I wrong. Letting this sick man move with me has cost me more than that car. My dear Sweetie was the final blow. I always try and see the best in people but I was so blind! I have so much hate inside of me right now its destroying who I am. I know you all tell me not to blame myself and I want to believe it but I should of made better choices. I cant stand to even look at these idiots! I cant bring her back but I will make the changes in my life so my pets will never suffer at the hands of a creep again. I am going to go see a crisis counsler asap because its just stewing inside of me. I dont know what I might do if I came face to face with this creep. All your kind words have been helping me stay focused and when I feel a breakdown coming I come in and leave a post, it really helps!

Corinna, I think some counseling would be very good for you. It will help with your grief and your guilt. Sometimes people choose the wrong people to be in their lives, not knowing exactly what those people are capable of. Sweetie knew you loved her and she knew it until the moment she crossed over the Bridge. Please get some solace from that fact.

Please be safe. Be careful and aware of your surroundings. God bless you.

Suzie

Oh Corrina we've all make mistakes and bad choices at some point in our lives, we are human after all. The mistakes you made are past now and there is nothing you can do to change that. It's how you deal with this and move forward in your life that counts now. I'm glad you are going to see a counselor and I hope they can help you through this terrible situation and get some kind of peace in your life. God Bless!
