Worst thing you ever caught in your Sheltie's mouth?

I always give my guys the pizza bones (crusts) but a WHOLE pizza!? Wow!

Well not a WHOLE pizza but about 25% of a 12 inch one... yep.
Surprisingly, she didn't get sick from it but we were not pleased at her... and ourselves.

Oh, one time Smokey ate a large plate of deep fried mozzarella sticks. He had pancreatitis and was terribly ill for 2 weeks.

My old gal Kaylee once made off with an entire loaf of french bread. She had the happiest look on her face as she bolted out of the kitchen.

I almost forgot. Fiona once ate the queen off of my chess set. I caught her gnawing on her head in the kitchen.

Well....my former sheltie, Sassy, when she was a puppy she chewed on my husbands cell phone from work. She also destroyed my husband's and my running shoes...leaving the other running shoes without a partner. Has dragged bathroom wastebasket right into the living room and layed my carpet with shredded toilet paper and kleenex.

Mya...when we first got her...she chewed on my furniture. Had that stopped instantly with a spray of sour apple.
Then she targeted the toys from the girls. She didn't eat them...but sure loved laying chewed up peices everywhere.
The one thing she did eat though....was crayons.

Her poopies were absolutely colorful...

When he was a puppy Sca got TWO power cords on my Macbook Pro, this was a fixed habit. Now he just stands on it :rolleyes2:

Q Tips. He is an addict and can suck a Q Tip off the bottom of a garbage can in 2 seconds or less. He will even open the can with a lid on it if the bathroom door is left open

Oh and my trailer brakes TWICE that has been confirmed and the wiring harness once with teeth marks on the current one.

Lastly shoes. Any shoe will result in a zooming sheltie that is really proud of himself for having a shoe

1) MY RUG! Ok it's probably not that bad for him. But when you may have to sell your house the last thing you need is to need to have your carpet replaced not because it's dirty, or a dog went potty on it too many times, but because a pup thinks the rug is the closest thing to grass inside the house so he can eat it.

2) Coins. I do most of my purchasing with a debt card, so I haven't had change in the house in ages. Somehow Vash has found a stash of them somewhere in the house and I don't know where. Luckly he doesn't have a whole lot of intrest in eating them, he picks them up in his mouth drags them somewhere he can play and then all you hear is jumping, scratching and barking.

3) A screw. I had been repairing trim on my house and as anyone will tell you when working on a ladder you'll likely lose some hardware. Well one night when I took Vash out for his nightly potty session he managed to find one of the screws that I had dropped and not found, and brought it inside with out me knowing. A few min after coming inside, I hear him barking/jumping/ you know typical play behavior, I looked down and on the ground in front of him was a screw, which I promptly removed.

4) My headphone wires. I used to be the owner of a really nice computer headset with a microphone. I used them while playing games or making computer calls. One night Vash wandered in to the room all tuckered out, and laid down at my feet. I thought "Wow this is a first he's just hanging out with me instead of wanting to play. It's great". So I continued on doing what I was doing, and Vash was being an incredibly normal dog for a while. Well after a while I started having some issues with sound on the headphones, I grabbed the coord thinking that I might have pulled it out accidentally. As I began to pull the coord to plug it back in I found frayed wires instead, I looked down and Vash was just staring back up at me with a peice of coord in his mouth.

5) Printer Power Cable. Luckly my printer was unplugged when this happened, but Vash managed to chew straight through my printers power cable in a matter of moments one night.

6) Shoe Laces. Vash has a shoe lace addiction, he likes to suck on them and then when he's had his fill he bites them off. This results in a fun trip to the bathroom next morning when he walks for a half mile or so in a poop squat because it just won't drop out thanks to the shoe lace, or alternatively me chasing a running sheltie in a poop squat who doesn't want to let me near his rear end. It's also rather fustrating when you try to tie your shoes and realize you can't.

I guess I should be thankful he's not a poop eater.

.

I hear you. I was getting ready to run agility and my shoe seemed loose so I reached down to retie it. First pull, SNAP, the laces broke and I had to scramble to tie a knot so my shoe wouldn't fall off. I swear Ember was snickering.:rolleyes2::mad:

Of course there is the pizza that Deska stole earlier in the year - walk straight into someone elses home and nicked off with it. Since then he still goes up to all the front doors we go past to check if he can get inside - he has managed a couple of time, luckily the home owners had a sense of humour!

I could see Fluffy doing that. :rolleyes2: The last time she was at the park she tried to raid Zen's (ACD) treat bag AND gave several failed attempts at picking the ice cubes out of his water! :uhoh:
