I'm getting a puppyyyyyyyyy!

Good luck Judy puppy! Every day she is still here, she's getting stronger and your hearts desire gets closer! ((((little blue Healthy girl))))

Yikes! I can't think of anything worse than waiting and wondering if a pup will live.... but all fingers toes and paws crossed here Judy that this little girl will pull through and fly into your waiting arms. :fl :hugs Keep us posted!

So far she is still here as far as I know. I have not heard from the breeder that she is not.

Thank you everyone for the encouragement.

Be prepared for lots and lots of pictures if this puppy is meant to be. I have not idea at this time and I'm preparing myself for anything!!

So the breeder has decided to keep one boy and one girl from the litter which leaves one boy and one girl that will be going to pet homes. The one with the white blaze going up the face is the boy that is being kept. She didn't specify which was the girl she was keeping so I've just replied in an email asking. So exciting! :biggrin2:

They are all so cute...and the Mom is beautiful. Waiting is tough...but your pup will be worth it. Let us know which one will be coming home to you when you find out...so we can share in your joy. :smile2:

Judy, I am just reading about your tiny pup and sending prayers that she makes it with flying colors. These extra tiny ones are often a whole lot tougher than they look and grow up to be wonderful healthy adults. I just know she will be spoiled rotten when you finally get to bring her home. :smile2:

Praying for you also. My breeder doesn't notify potential owners until after the first 2 days, so it's encouraging that the pup is hanging in there.:fl

It's a girl!!!

I just heard back from the breeder and she apologised. Apparently when they were born she had a quick look and thought there were 2 boys and 2 girls. However when she had a closer look a few days later realised there was only 1 boy and 3 girls and she forgot to tell me.

Luckily I didn't have my heart set on either sex. So ... Now I can look at names :pop Two names I'd already thought of is Bonnie and Lacey. That way I could call her my Bonnie wee lass :biggrin2: and well, just because I like the name Lacey.

So any suggestions for early name considerations? The two girls that are available are 1 of the darker ones and the 1 tiny one in their two week old photo if appearance makes a difference to the name. The breeder is keeping the 1 boy (blaze) and 1 of the 2 darker girls. I've also been told I get last pick of the two girls since the other pet buyer was first. While I would have loved to pick my new girl I will simply trust that what is meant to be is truly meant to be :smile2:

Awww a girl! So exciting! You know what, Bonnie is my absolute favourite girl dog's name (but unfortunately my MIL got a dog already named Bonnie before I could use the name). So, I'm voting for Bonnie! Lacey is a really pretty name too, though. They're both good sheltie names.

You're right, what is meant to be will be. I didn't get to pick either of my girls, but couldn't have chosen better if I'd had a choice.

Congratulations! We need a few more little girls this summer. Bonnie is a lovely name. Whether you are first pick, last pick, or breeder pick, you are going to have a wonderful little lady to have great fun with.
